Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ListingShot ("ListingShot", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the ListingShot mobile application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service"). ListingShot is designed to need as little of your data as possible: there is no account, and we never ask for your name, email address or password to use the App. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Who we are

The ListingShot Service is operated by Kodera ("Kodera"), the company behind the BrandScale platform. Kodera is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy.

A login-free, privacy-first design

ListingShot does not have user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, email or password required to use the App. Instead, when you first open the App, it generates an anonymous, device-based identifier and a session token so the App can function — for example, to keep track of your credit balance and your past results on your device. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity, and we do not combine it with information that would identify you personally.

Information we process

Photos and images you submit. When you choose to enhance a photo, that image is uploaded to our backend so our AI tools can detect the room type, check that the photo is suitable for the selected tool, and generate your enhanced result. The generated images are produced from the photos you provide.

Anonymous device and app data. As described above, we process an anonymous device-based identifier and session token, together with related app state such as your credit balance, your generation history and your in-app preferences (for example, language and theme).

Purchase information. ListingShot uses in-app purchases for credits. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, and entitlement and purchase status are managed using RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your purchases and entitlements, but we never receive or store your full payment-card details — those are handled by Apple.

Push notification token. If you choose to enable notifications (for example, to be told when a result is ready), the App registers a device push token through Apple Push Notification service and Expo's notification infrastructure so we can deliver that notification. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Technical, diagnostic and usage data. To keep the Service reliable and secure, we process technical information such as app version, device type and operating system, language, coarse region, request logs, and crash and error diagnostics. We use operational analytics and diagnostics tools (such as PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting) tied to the anonymous identifier, not to your real-world identity.

Contact form data (website). If you contact us through the website contact form or by email, we process the name, email address, topic and message you choose to send so we can respond to you.

How we use your information

Provide the core service: upload, process and return your enhanced photos, including detecting the room type and checking whether a photo is suitable for the tool you selected.

Manage credits and purchases: maintain your credit balance, recognise your in-app purchases and entitlements, and restore previous purchases when you ask.

Deliver notifications you have enabled, such as letting you know when a result is ready.

Operate, secure, debug, prevent abuse of, and improve the Service.

Respond to support requests, feedback, and other messages you send us.

Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Your photos

Your photos are central to the Service, and we treat them accordingly. We use the photos you upload only to provide the features you request — generating your enhanced result and operating supporting features such as automatic room detection. We do not sell your photos, we do not use them to advertise to you, and we do not use them to identify you.

Uploaded images and generated results are processed and stored only as needed to deliver the Service and are retained for a limited operational period, after which they are deleted in line with our retention practices. Temporary links used to transfer images are short-lived and expire automatically. When you save a result, that image is stored in your own device's photo library, which is outside our control and governed by your device settings.

AI processing and service providers

ListingShot relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Service. To generate results, your uploaded photos and the prompts derived from them are processed by third-party artificial-intelligence providers — which may include Google (Gemini), OpenAI, Anthropic and fal.ai — for image generation, room detection and related processing. Images are stored using cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare.

We also use providers for in-app purchase management (RevenueCat), notification delivery (Apple and Expo), product analytics (PostHog), crash diagnostics (Sentry) and advertising measurement (Meta / Facebook).

These providers process information only to provide their services to us and are bound by contractual and legal obligations to protect it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not allow our providers to use your photos or data for their own independent purposes.

Advertising measurement

ListingShot does not show third-party ads inside the App. We do use Meta (Facebook) tools to measure how our own advertising performs, for example to understand which campaigns bring new users. With your permission this can involve your device's advertising identifier and basic app-event data, which is why iOS asks whether you allow tracking. You can decline, or change your choice at any time in your device settings, and the App keeps working either way. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Uploaded photos and generated images are retained for a limited operational window and then deleted. Anonymous device-based data and app state remain on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a record of our correspondence.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live, including countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with applicable law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you, and to data portability. Because the App is anonymous and stores app data on your device, the simplest way to remove app-side data is to delete the App from your device, which removes the local anonymous identifier and app state.

You can control notifications and photo-library access at any time through your device settings. For any personal data connected to messages you have sent us, or to make a privacy request, reach us through our contact page at https://listingshot.co/contact and we will help. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Children's privacy

ListingShot is not directed to children. The Service is intended for users who are adults, or who have reached the age required to consent to the processing of personal data in their country (and in any case at least 13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
